Your areas of interest

Apprenticeship – an apprentice is an employee, 16 or over, who is following a structured, work-based training programme. There are many reasons why becoming an apprentice is a good idea. You earn a salary, receive on the job training and gain a qualification to boost your CV.

Work experience – this is your opportunity to learn more about a particular job or area of work. During your placement, you’ll be able to find out what skills employers want when they are looking for someone to fill a job vacancy.

Traineeship Plus – This is a study programme which includes a work placement within Hampshire County Council or a partner organisation. You will also work towards a relevant qualification. Completion of the programme could also help to prepare you for a formal apprenticeship.
